Cynthia has worked as an
English instructor at Sam Houston State University, Huntsville, Texas; then, as
an insurance investigator specializing in death and disability claims
investigations. There, she learned that
she had a talent for listening and sensitivity to the process of grief. This
led her to look more deeply at holistic health. She attained a Master’s Degree
in Health Education / Wellness from Texas A & M University in College
Station, Texas. Here, her concentration
was wellness that studies the link between the mind, body and spirit.
A long-time Western astrologer, she has completed a rigorous program and
received certification by the American Council for Vedic Astrology.
After Nine years in various
areas of insurance investigations, she stepped out full time as an intuitive
consultant. This had been her passion
since 1976 when she erected her first astrology chart. In the years that followed, no matter what
her areas of study or career, advancing her knowledge of astrology and
intuitive awareness were her passions.
She arrived in Dallas, TX in
September 1992 and launched her full-time career as an intuitive. She works with private clients to help them
gain greater self-understanding and spiritual awareness. She was a regular on the popular “John
Ravenstone Show” a three-hour, late-night radio program on AM 1190 in Dallas
until the station was sold and all formats changed. Cynthia then did the daily
horoscope feature for Young Country’s dial in
“Dave Line” for two years. She
has published in such popular magazines as Dell
horoscope and The Mountain Astrologer.
She currently writes a feature column for the Dallas area periodical The Holistic Networker which distributes over 35,000 issues
quarterly.
Teaching is a skill, a
talent and a calling. Cynthia teaches through the University of Texas at
Arlington continuing Education program.
Courses offered include “Introduction to Astrology” and “How to Develop
Your Intuition.” She also speaks at the
Dallas Metroplex, Wellness Expo
presented in the Addison Conference Centre, Addison Texas, twice each year.
A private session with
Cynthia is not your typical astrology reading.
Prepare to participate in your session by looking deeply at yourself and
expect homework to help you on your way.
Cynthia allows the chart to talk to her. The intuitive connection is
made not through your minds, but from her heart to your heart. A passion for
Eastern thought and Western action, she blends Western and Vedic astrology to
bring you practical information to help you remember why you are here and plan
where you are going. Each session is
tailored to the individual’s needs at the moment. It will be as if a part of you is talking to you through
her. Don’t expect to sit passively on
the sidelines, she will get you involved in your present to manifest many
opportunities in your future.
One technique that Cynthia
has devised evolved from her study of Caroline Myss’s work. She immersed herself in Energy Anatomy and
soon the planets in the birth chart began to show themselves as chakras. The aspects became the people of clues to
how these areas could be open or where the blocks began.
